Asiamold Select – Guangzhou 2024 teams up with parallel exhibitions to reveal smart tech opportunities in moulding

25 Jan 2024

The Asiamold Select exhibition series will reconvene at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China from 4 – 6 March 2024. To be held concurrently with SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou and the debut edition of Guangzhou Industrial Technology, this interlinked trio of exhibitions will provide visiting moulders and mouldmakers with a comprehensive perspective of the smart technology trends that are reshaping the industry.

As in previous years, the event’s offerings will be centred around key aspects of mould production and design. These will include advancements in traditional mould making and tooling products, including plastics, stamping, and die casting moulds. Additive manufacturing will also feature prominently, with a selection of 3D printers, scanners and materials. In addition, the event will showcase the latest visualisation, simulation and design software, mould development, engineering and measurement tools, and surface treatments.

In addition to welcoming a number of returning industry leaders, the show’s upcoming 2024 Guangzhou edition will feature a selection of new exhibitors set to introduce fresh perspectives and insights. Companies making their first appearance include:

Moulding and die-casting:
Baito, Changan Qianyi, Dongke, Fangling Precision, Fengjingte, Frenk, Hairong, Haizhifeng Nano Coating, HeMei, HongGuan, Honggao, Huangyan Pinheng, Huangyan Wuxin, Jiudong Industrial, Maobo, PingLi, Sirtec (Dongguan) Plastics & Electronics, YiTai, and Yuyao AdvanPlast.

3D printing:
BASF Forward AM, Black Box 3D, Flashforge 3D, Goofoo, Kiben3D, Luxin New Materials, Moji-Nano, Raise3D, Rayshape

This year, these offerings will be complemented by the proximity of two co-located fairs, providing a glimpse into the future of integrated smart manufacturing within the moulding industry.

Synergistic opportunities with co-located fairs
The concurrent staging of Asiamold Select – Guangzhou, SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou and Guangzhou Industrial Technology forms a comprehensive platform which connects the entire industrial chain. This collaborative setting promotes information exchange and networking opportunities between professionals from different segments of the manufacturing ecosystem, from sourcing and product design through to manufacturing, quality control and logistics.

For Asiamold Select attendees, these adjacent fairs offer insights into the broader world of manufacturing innovation. When applied to the moulding industry, smart technologies can offer tangible improvements in product consistency, material efficiency and operational performance. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover how these technologies can be used to mitigate industry-specific challenges and improve their competitive capabilities within the context of their business, while exhibitors will gain access to a larger and more diverse marketplace seeking integrated solutions.

A member of the internationally recognised SPS network, SPS – Smart Production Solutions Guangzhou is set to build upon the foundations of its predecessor, SIAF Guangzhou. Here, attendees will be able to explore a wide selection of smart technology solutions, including drive systems and components, sensor, control and interface technologies, Human-Machine-Interfaces (HMI), mechanical infrastructure, and more.

Meanwhile, the inaugural edition of Guangzhou Industrial Technology will provide a comprehensive showcase of emerging technologies and advancements in the industrial sector, with a focus on integrating smart technologies into the modern production landscape. Offerings will include industrial communication, manufacturing software and IT systems, industrial robotics, intelligent equipment and intra-logistics, and more.
