Scheduled fringe events at Asiamold 2020 to reveal the latest trends in moulding industry

29 Nov 2019

Not only embraced by loyal exhibitors within the moulding industry, Asiamold has also received strong support from renowned industrial associations over the years. For 2020, the Society of Advanced Moulding Technology (SAMT) will become one of the supporting associations of the show, which will further facilitate the exchange between industry players through a series of fringe events.

Asiamold – Guangzhou International Mould & Die Exhibition is set to take place from 26 – 28 February 2020 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou China. The fair will be held concurrently with SPS – Industrial Automation Fair Guangzhou (SIAF) to showcase the latest offerings in mould making, die-casting, metalworking, bearing, 3D printing, and laser and automation technologies. Both exhibitors and buyers will benefit from the business opportunities presented at the two fairs.

Joining the fair as a supporter for the first time, SAMT has been a leading moulding association in China since 2005. The society is committed to advocating the use of precision moulding technology under the premise of sustainable development. This year, SAMT fully supports Asiamold by bringing the acclaimed Advanced Moulding and Materials Processing Technology Conference to the fair. This high-calibre conference will focus on some of the most recent moulding technologies such as polymeric moulding. Some of the heavyweight speakers within the industry taking part include Mr Gao Furong, Docent of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Comprehensive fringe programme offers invaluable market intelligence and business opportunities

Concurrent events have always been one of the key features at Asiamold. Apart from the conference of SAMT, there are also plenty of other activities during the three-day show. Organised by the Two-colour Injection Moulding Alliance, the Two-colour and Multi-colour Injection Moulding Technology Summit will be held on the second day of the fair. The summit aims to further promote the development of two-colour and multi-colour injection moulding technology by sharing its latest applications in various industries like car lighting and accessories, home appliances, electronics manufacturing, smart wears and more.

There will also be two special training lectures with the topics of ‘Scientific Injection Moulding Technology’ and ‘TPM for Moulding Workshop’ on day three of the fair. The former one will introduce the fundamentals and functions of scientific injection moulding, while the latter one will explain the goal and benefits of TPM. Both lectures will be led by industry experts with over 30 years of experience in the moulding industry, allowing interested parties to gain a glimpse of the technologies and solutions in the moulding industry.

In addition, the 3D Printing Industry Technology Application Summit will once again return at the 2020 fair. The summit will invite numerous prominent speakers to share their insights on the latest 3D printing and moulding technologies. More details will be announced later.
